The QSFP 40G LR4 Transceiver is a high-performance, long-reach optical module designed for 40 Gigabit Ethernet applications requiring transmission over single-mode fiber. Compliant with IEEE 802.3ba and QSFP MSA standards, this transceiver utilizes four independent 10G lanes multiplexed at four different wavelengths (1271nm, 1291nm, 1311nm, 1331nm) with WDM (Wavelength Division Multiplexing) technology, enabling reliable connectivity up to 10 kilometers over standard single-mode fiber using a duplex LC connector. The compact QSFP form factor provides four times the density of traditional SFP+ modules, making it ideal for long-haul links in data center interconnect, campus backbone, and service provider networks. With low power consumption and digital diagnostics monitoring capabilities, the 40G LR4 delivers the performance and reliability required for high-bandwidth, long-distance applications.
