To facilitate installation and maintenance, and ensure that electrical equipment can operate under the most severe conditions, the different specifications and colors of wires used by all electrical equipment in the vehicle are rationally arranged and bundled together with insulating material. This ensures both integrity and reliability.
Proper Selection of Wire Cross-sectional Area and Color Codes
1) Correct Selection of Wire Cross-sectional Area: The cross-sectional area of the wires used for the vehicle's electrical equipment is selected according to the load current. For electrical equipment operating for extended periods, 60% of the actual current-carrying capacity of the wire can be used; for electrical equipment operating for short periods, 60%-100% of the actual current-carrying capacity can be used.
2) Selection of Wire Color Codes
For ease of identification and maintenance, different colors are used for the wires in the wiring harness.
For convenient labeling in circuit diagrams, the wire colors are represented by letters, and the corresponding colors are noted in each circuit diagram.
